We were so impressed from the minute we stepped on the Scarlett Lady. The decorations and the set up of the ship is incredible. You for sure feel the “adult only” vibe.

We absolutely loved our room. The balcony with a hammock may have been our favorite spot. Everything is set up with incredible technology and you can set the mood of the room with one touch of the iPad.

I have been asked many times about if a balcony room is worth it on a cruise and my answer will always be YES!!! We love stepping outside to the fresh air, cracking the door at night and hearing the ocean and feeling the breeze makes for a peaceful night of sleep. Also, on Virgin the added hammock is amazing! I am telling you we spent a lot of time sitting out here when we were in the room and maybe took a nap or two.

Let’s talk about the food. Oh my goodness!!! I am telling you that you will not go hungry on this ship. From breakfast to dinner, we loved everything we had! There are no buffets on the Virgin Ships. The is a Galley where you have a variety of options. The waitress will come and take your order and bring you your food. I liked to order a variety of things to try. And I never missed dessert. I loved the popsicles they had in the afternoons and of course a stop by the ice cream shop was always a must.

You are able to make dinner reservations ahead of time, which makes it nice for you to know when dinner will be each night. The variety of places to eat was wonderful. A steak house, Italian, Korean BBQ, Mexican, Test Kitchen, Razzle Dazzle. Trying new things was also really fun. We felt like the dinners were an experience, which was so fun!
